Description
Camp Lokanda is currently looking for lifeguards to be a part of our waterfront staff. Lifeguards work as a team at our various water areas including 2 pools, lakefront boating/beach area, waterpark with inflatables as well as our off-site waterski program.
Our lifeguards are at camp from June 12, 2027 to August 11, 2027.
Applicants should be lifeguard certified or have significant experience swimming and/or teaching swim lessons. As part of the orientation program, all of our lifeguards will participate in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification program.

Camp Lokanda is a premier co-ed sleep-away camp located in the amazing Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York (approximately 2 hours from New York City). We have been around since 1937 and have approximately 400 campers ranging from ages 7 to 16. To look after so many campers, we invite 250 staff to join us from all over the world.
Lokanda prides itself on being a safe, fun environment for everyone to grow and develop. As you take good care of our campers, we in turn take good care of you. We provide a good salary as well as housing, laundry and food for the summer.
